Sustainable Enterprise Conference Partners with Sonoma GO LOCAL to Celebrate 15 Years of Supporting Local Businesses
Rohnert Park, CA – The Sustainable Enterprise Conference (SEC) is proud to announce a special partnership with Sonoma GO LOCAL in celebration of its 15th anniversary. The conference, taking place on March 27 at SOMO Village, will highlight the vital role local businesses play in driving Sonoma County’s economy, sustainability, and community resilience.
Sonoma GO LOCAL has spent the past 15 years championing independent businesses and fostering a thriving local economy. Local businesses are the backbone of Sonoma County, generating nearly three times the economic impact of national chains by recirculating revenue within the community (Sonoma State University Economic Impact Study, 2023).
“We’re excited to celebrate this milestone at SEC and showcase how supporting locally owned businesses strengthens our economy, reduces environmental impact, and nurtures a vibrant, connected community,” said Oren Wool, Executive Director of Sustainable North Bay.
The conference will feature inspiring speakers, including Erica Peng and Gil Friend, as well as deep dives into Zero Waste, Food Systems, Fire Mitigation, and Building Decarbonization. The celebration of Sonoma GO LOCAL’s 15th anniversary will take place during the evening reception, bringing together local business leaders, sustainability advocates, and community changemakers.
