Jared Hall is the Transit Manager for the Petaluma Transit. With over 17 years of experience in the transit industry, he has worked in a variety of areas of focus including operations, planning, leadership, finance, marketing, and organizational excellence. Jared oversees and directs the operations and services of the Petaluma Transit network, including route planning, management of operating contract, and coordination with regional transit partner agencies. He has worked on multiple award-winning projects related to bus rapid transit, marketing and intercity bus programs. Under his direction, Petaluma Transit has adopted its zero-emission bus transition plan to become fully electric by 2030, launched LumaGo on-demand microtransit service, created the first ever free transit system in the San Francisco Bay Area, and exceed its pre-Covid ridership levels for the first time in 2024.

Jared graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2005 with an undergraduate degree in Business Management and from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2007 with an MBA in Marketing.
