The ShareExchange, a local sustainability center located at 531 5th Street in Downtown Santa Rosa, (between Mendocino & B Street) opened it's doors on December 16 with the launch of the Made Local Marketplace, now featuring the work of over 100 local makers.
On March 1, the ShareExchange opened the Work With Lounge, a co-working entrepreneurial incubation space. Providing members with access to talented local professionals, meeting space, color printer, copier, and Sonic Fusion WiFi, the Work With Lounge is a great social network and offers discounts from partners such as WaccoBB.net, High Exposure Video, and Doing Business Today. Membership fees range from $10 (for a day) to $300 (for a year), with discounts for students and seniors.
Other projects at the ShareExchange include the Sonoma County TimeBank and the Green Bough Health Cooperative, www.santarosa5thstreet.com, and the Sustainable Commercial Urban Farm Incubator (SCUFI) program. To learn more, please visit www.shareexchange.coop or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
