Rodney Strong Vineyards is an award winning family-owned winery located in the Russian River Valley. The winery motto is, "Place Matters" and it shows through our sustainable practices.
Drip irrigation systems, cover crops, composting, recycling, and deriving energy from solar panels are some of the ways in which we have achieved our sustainability goals. Protecting our natural resources and supporting the community lays the ground work for continued success in the future.
The winemaking team is passionate about producing wines sourced from the rich soils of Sonoma County. Complex Chardonnay, rich Pinot Noir, and bold Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon are just some of the options you can expect to enjoy at the Rodney Strong Tasting Room.
Founded in 2011, we crank out awesome beers 10 barrels at a time in uncompromising and fearless pursuit of our goal: creating new and interesting kinds of delicious. HenHouse is the work of our hands, hearts and brains and we hope you enjoy the beer as much as we enjoy making it.
Founded in 1981 by Holly and Henry Wendt, Quivira was established six years later. Attracted by Quivira’s strong tradition of sustainability, Pete and Terri Kight purchased the winery from the Wendts in 2006 with the goal of creating a balanced estate capable of producing genuinely world-class wines.
Quivira has been a Demeter certified Biodynamic® and organic winery since 2005. A 55kW solar electric system has supplied 100% of Quivira's energy needs since 2005.
The Quivira estate comprises four distinct vineyards within the Dry Creek AVA: Wine Creek Ranch, Goat Trek Vineyard, Katz/Absner Ranch and Anderson Ranch, with 93 acres of vines in total. In addition to Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc, Quivira grows several Rhône varieties and a small amount of rare varieties, such as Counoise and Montepulciano.
Quivira is guided by a deeply-held principle of careful stewardship of the land and all its creatures. Since 1998 Quivira has been actively engaged in restoring Wine Creek, the Coho salmon and Steelhead trout spawning stream that winds through the center of the estate.
Quivira’s estate includes a lush Biodynamic and organic garden designed to educate visitors on farming and viticultural practices as well as supply local markets with fresh produce. The garden includes 120 raised beds, growing a wide variety of produce, a Biodynamic prep tower, pond, greenhouse and chicken coop.
Quivira offers estate-grown, estate-bottled olive oil and estate honey for sale in its tasting room.

Established in 1970, Ashton Vineyard has been the source of fine wine grapes at the heart of some of California's most notable wines.
We are proud to introduce our own wines made exclusively of grapes from our estate at the foot of Sonoma Mountain in Glen Ellen in the Valley of the Moon. We grow and make two varieties: Pinot Noir and Syrah.
We started our vineyard with Pinot Noir some 38 years ago. We spent two years researching our site which faces east, providing the vineyard early morning sun. The sun leaves the vineyard earlier in the day than if we were on the other side of the Valley, which gets the late afternoon sun. Pinot Noir, one of the earliest ripening red wine grapes, benefits from our Eastern exposure which provides slow ripening with extra "hang time." The vineyard contains 7 clones of Pinot Noir which add to its depth and complexity.
The style of Syrah we love is like that of the Hermitage region of the northern Rhone area of France. Our choice of Syrah for the east-facing slopes on the southern section of the property was based on the cooler climates of the Hermitage region. Our Syrah also benefits from extended hang time and cooler late afternoons.
Our vines are sustainably grown, free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides
Ashton Vineyard Pinot Noir is a rich, full flavored yet elegant wine that pairs beautifully with lamb, grilled sea bass, seared ahi tuna and, as we discovered with our friend, actor Daniel Benzali, French Vietnamese food.
Ashton Vineyard Syrah is a handcrafted artisan wine. The grapes were picked by hand, hand sorted and barrel aged for 36 months. The wine is deep, succulent and concentrated with richly layered fruit flavors, abundant mid-palate sensations and a lingering taste.
