Edward L. Quevedo

 

Ed Quevedo joined Presidio Graduate School in January 2011 to teach the MBA Capstone Entrepreneurship Course, and in Summer 2011 he launched the new course in International Entrepreneurship. He subsequently added the MPA Integrative Capstone course to his teaching duties.

In October 2011, he was appointed Interim Dean of the Faculty. Prior to joining the Presidio Faculty, Ed served on the faculty of the Green MBA Program within the School of Business & Leadership at the Dominican University of California. While at Dominican, he served as faculty chair and director of both the Executive Certificate Program in the Green MBA and the Professional and Continuing Education Program in Sustainable Practices. He has lectured on environmental management, applied ethics, sustainable development and sustainable business practices at various Universities including the University of California, Berkeley; Tulane University, The Technical University of Berlin; and Lund University (Sweden).

Ed's teaching methods include models of enterprise ethics, new venture creation and financial modeling that challenge consumer-based economy and the regulatory and financial structures underpinning the global financial system.

Ed's teaching is informed by his work in sustainability Law and Policy and management consulting. Since 1994, Ed has advised large, medium sized and startup companies throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia on sustainability management strategies. His practice incorporates management systems and systemic thinking tools to design, enhance and implement compliance, sustainability and corporate responsibility strategies. He also specializes in Climate Change vulnerability assessment and adaptation strategy development. He occasionally contributes to the sustainability law practice at Katovich & Kassan LLP and the strategic managment consulting practice at Cutting Edge Capital.
