In his role as the Executive Director of the Sustainable Enterprise Conference Oren Wool coordinates the production of the annual event. He works with local community leaders to provide a program that emphasizes sustainable opportunities for prosperity and resilience in the North Bay. Oren is one of the founders of this annual event and is gratified for the growing awareness of sustainability and support for the conference.
Beyond the conference, Oren is a contractor in the natural products industry. He is a project manager for organizations looking support brand goals throughout the value chain. With his work Oren promotes ideas, policies, companies and products that embrace sustainable practices and foster social equity. Recent clients include organizations focused on food safety, organic agriculture, herbal supplements, fair trade, biodiversity and healthy lifestyles.
Previously Oren directed the logistical operations for Indigenous Designs, a Fair Trade and Organic clothing company located in Santa Rosa, California, overseeing a near doubling of the company. He worked with cooperatives in Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala and India to bring organic artisan crafted contemporary clothing to the fashion industry and deliver profits from a socially equitable supply chain.
