Keith Dews II

Keith Dews II has been with the San Francisco Department of the Environment for the past 5 years. During that time he has held several different positions from grassroots outreach staff to zero waste associate.

Born and raised a stone’s throw from the Recology’s Tunnel Road Transfer station, as a kid he was an avid recycler. He would collect bottles and cans at family gatherings which spurred his interest in the environment. He is currently working on enforcement of the mandatory recycling and composting ordinance as it applies to multi-family buildings in San Francisco.
