Edward L. Quevedo, J.D. is a Senior Partner with Aligned Growth Partners heading the firm’s new Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability practice. Prior to joining Aligned Growth, Ed Quevedo served as a Research Affiliate at the Institute for the Future in Palo Alto, California, where he directed their program in Regenerative Future Economies and contributes to the Institute’s Peace and Social Justice Lab. He was previously an Associate in Reos Partners LLP, a global diplomacy and social change agency, where he advised and counselled national and regional governments and other civil society organizations on complex problem solving and strategic transformation. He has an A.B. in Philosophy from UCLA and a J.D. from U.C. Berkeley.
Ed has served as Faculty in Sustainable Enterprise at the Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business & Public Policy at Mills College (Oakland, CA, USA). At the Lokey School, he was as Lead Faculty in the Concentration in Socially Responsible Business, and Director and Senior Research Fellow in the Mills College Center for Socially Responsible Business.
During his career, Ed has held several academic appointments, including at Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco, California, from 2010 through 2013, where he served as Dean of the Faculty. His courses there included the Capstone Social Entrepreneurship Course in the MBA Program, and the Capstone Public Policy Course in the Masters of Public Administration Program. From 2003 through 2010 Ed served as faculty within the Green MBA® Program of the School of Business & Leadership at the Dominican University of California in San Rafael, California.
Ed makes his home in Northern California, where he continues to learn from his children and the local communities he is privileged to serve. He finds joy and inspiration in hiking, trail running, rock climbing, tennis, and time with family and friends. He lives by the motto, borrowed from one of his clients, “Education & Good Times.”
