Georgia Kelly is the Founder and Executive Director of Praxis Peace Institute. She creates educational programming for Praxis, which has included several multi-day conferences in California and Europe. She has also developed and leads seminars abroad that focus on cooperatives as an economic path to socially just, sustainable societies. They include programs in Italy, Cuba, and an annual seminar at the Mondragon Cooperatives in Spain. Georgia has written several articles on cooperatives and the Mondragon Cooperatives in particular on her Huffington Post blog and for magazines. She teaches communication and conflict resolution workshops and has experience in mediation. A long-time active citizen, Georgia has chaired many issue-based political organizations and educational forums. She edited and co-authored Uncivil Liberties: Deconstructing Libertarianism, a critique of libertarian ideas and laissez-faire capitalism. Her previous career was as a musician: harpist, composer, and recording artist.
Georgia edited a 67-page booklet on the results of the seven seminars that Praxis Peace Institute has held at the Mondragón Cooperatives in Spain. This book will be available in late February 2017.
