Allison Jenks

Sustainability Senator

Allison Jenks is a fourth year Environmental Studies and Planning major with a focus on Energy Management and Design and is going into her second year as the Sustainability Senator for Associated Students of Sonoma State University.

As Sustainability Senator she promotes awareness of sustainability to students, while also advocating for students' perspective on sustainability issues. She has received a $1,000 Greenovation Fund grant toward bike safety which went to giving away bike locks and lights as we promoted bike safety along with SSU's police services. Jenks also co-authored a Water Bottle Resolution which called for Associated Students to no longer purchase single-use plastic water bottles along with calling for hydration stations on every floor of every building at Sonoma State.
