Nick Papadopoulos

Senior Associate, Department of Git-R-Done

Nick Papadopoulos has spent many years as a consultant, facilitator and social impact entrepreneur focusing on one objective — facilitating the transformation of businesses, teams and communities for meaningful and measurable results. He has worked and volunteered in a variety of settings, from grassroots community organizing and public policy projects to managing strategic and cause-related projects for major global companies and associations.

He currently serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of the CropMobster Community Exchange and Food Waste News, which he and his partners launched in 2013 to provide communities with gear and services to help transform food waste and community surplus into “win-win” and “closed-loop” economic, social and environmental value. These innovations emerged out of Nick’s 2-year stint as GM of his family’s farm, Bloomfield Organics, where he witnessed first-hand the toll food waste takes on farmers, small food businesses and communities. Prior to these experiences Nick spent over a decade as a serial entrepreneur and collaboration expert supporting regional policy initiatives, stakeholder engagement processes and corporate business projects, often teaming with leading organizations such as the Consensus Building Institute (CBI), Collaborative Consulting and others.

Nick graduated magna cum laude from Sonoma State University with a focus on interdisciplinary studies, complex systems and conflict management. He has advanced training and certification from The Consensus Building Institute and Lincoln Institute for Land Use Policy. His work has been featured in TIME Magazine, The Huffington Post, CCTV and other leading publications and he is known for engaging, impact-oriented presentations, workshops and speaking engagements.
