Helen Kwon

Helen Kwon is a community foods advocate and spiritual companion, partnering with grassroots and entrepreneurial efforts in Sonoma County to support local farms and increase access to healthy, sustainable food for all.  Helen completed a B.S., Masters of Public Health, and Ph.D. from Yale University in epidemiology and public health, and assessed health disparities among underserved children in Harlem.  She also holds a diploma in the art of spiritual direction and a certificate in permaculture design.  

She is a current fellow with the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy, and seeks to increase economic opportunity, food security, and social equity by advancing creative ventures such as incubator farms in Sonoma County.
